My mother Bebe baked terrific homemade brownies, which she called “fudge cake.” So I placed my mom’s recipe into a box and named the mix after her. Now you can bake real, from-scratch, super-chocolatey brownies at the spur of the moment, adding only eggs and melted butter. It’s homemade E=easy and it’s homemade good.
Naturally fudgy & good.
Double chocolate, with both cocoa and semisweet chocolate chips.
One-bowl preparation makes baking easy.
Whether you like fudgy or cakey brownies, you will love this mix. All that’s needed is a stick of melted butter and two large eggs. Stir, bake, and enjoy! If you like more cakey brownies, you can add an extra egg. And if you love brownies marbled with cream cheese, look for the recipe on the side of the box.
Premium cocoa plus semisweet chocolate chips make a better brownie. When warm, the chocolate chips offer these little pockets of chocolate oozey-goodness. Take this to another brownie universe by sprinkling on chopped pecans or walnuts before baking.
Grab a bowl and a wooden spoon because it’s that easy to bake these brownies. You can melt the butter in the bowl in a microwave oven, and then dump in the mix and eggs and stir until smooth. Or you can melt your butter in a saucepan, then pull the pan off the heat and stir in the mix and eggs. It’s easy and good!
